The Citara T RX radio chalkboard heater in black by VASNER impresses with its innovative radio control and is cleverly disguised as a conventional chalkboard. Thanks to the integrated radio system, the panel heater enables a quick and easy plug & play installation. The heater can either be plugged into a standard household socket or permanently connected to the mains by a qualified electrician. A special highlight is the radio control: At the touch of a button, the flat heater can be effortlessly connected to the additionally available RX radio thermostat transmitter. This requires neither a socket nor a flush-mounted receiver, which significantly minimises installation work and dirt. The design of the Citara T RX is well thought-out and modern: It is ultra-flat and has an elegant black powder coating, allowing it to be written on and drawn on with conventional blackboard chalk. The advanced infrared heating technology ensures even and efficient radiant heat right up to the edges of the heater. Benefits of Control with the RX Radio Thermostat Transmitter
Individually programmable: With the RX thermostat transmitter, which is sold separately in the VASNER SHOP, your radio chalkboard heater can be controlled particularly flexibly and energy-efficiently. In manual mode, you can adjust the room temperature to your requirements at any time. The automatic mode allows you to set specific temperatures for different times and days of the week. Your heating system then takes over the regulation independently and maintains the set values until the next programmed change.
Window open detection: If the room temperature suddenly drops, the thermostat transmitter recognises an open window and automatically reduces the output of the radio chalkboard heater for at least 10 minutes. This saves energy until the temperature has stabilised again. This practical function is activated by default, but can also be deactivated if required.
Frost protection: If the thermostat registers a temperature drop to 5 °C, it automatically increases the output of the Citara T RX panel heater until 10 °C is reached again. As a result, VASNER’s radio chalkboard heaters reliably protect against frost damage.

Twin Heating Technology Installed Right to the Edge of the Radio Chalkboard Heater
The Citara T RX radio chalkboard heater by VASNER uses innovative infrared heating technology that is laid in serpentine lines and does not overlap. This arrangement ensures even and efficient heat radiation without hot spots and without generating additional magnetic fields. With a surface temperature of up to 110 °C, the heater provides more warmth than many comparable products on the market. Integrated overheating protection ensures safe temperatures at all times. Thanks to a special insulating layer and a high-quality aluminium reflector, the back of the infrared panel heater only stays warm to the touch, so no energy is lost to the rear.
IP44 Splash-Proof Panel Heaters for Bathrooms
With IP44 protection against splashing water, the radio chalkboard heater by VASNER is perfect for use in the bathroom. As long as a safety distance of 60 cm from water sources is maintained, it can be installed flexibly in any wet room. The permanent infrared radiation offers many advantages in the bathroom: Its direct heat is particularly pleasant after showering or bathing and keeps walls and surfaces dry, reducing condensation and preventing mould growth. Together with the RX radio thermostat transmitter, your bathroom can be ideally preheated so that you can start off each morning in cosy warmth. Practical towel rails are also available for the 700, 900 and 1100 watt models to keep your towels dry and pleasantly warm at all times.
Patented VASNER Wall & Ceiling Mount
The Citara T RX radio chalkboard heater by VASNER is supplied with a patented bracket that enables simple and secure installation on walls and ceilings. For mounting, the bracket is fixed in the desired position using the plugs and screws supplied. The heating panel is then snapped into place and the locking clip is turned to securely fix the heater. The Citara T RX can be orientated both horizontally and vertically, which offers additional flexibility in terms of placement.

NEW: Digital anti-tilt protection / off function
For maximum safety, Citara T RX infrared heaters by VASNER are equipped with a digital tip-over protection with automatic switch-off. This function is activated by default and is particularly useful when the radio chalkboard heater is used as a mobile heat source with the optionally available feet. If the heater is tilted by more than 60°, the automatic switch-off function immediately stops operation until the heating panel is upright again. Depending on the type of installation, the tilt protection should be deactivated before operation. With this additional digital safety function, VASNER is setting standards in the field of safe infrared heaters. So you can enjoy the pleasant warmth of your panel heater without any worries.

Under Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, electric room heaters must be controlled and operated with electronic room temperature controls (thermostats) with a ‘weekday control’ and ‘open window detection’ or ‘adaptive control of the start of heating’ function. With the matching RX radio thermostat transmitter, you can optimally control VASNER RX radio infrared heaters, for example. You can find the thermostat transmitter in the VASNER SHOP.
Note on batteries: If the batteries are low, the display of the RX thermostat transmitter may not be updated and this may impair the heating process. If the room temperature and time are continuously displayed without change, please replace the batteries.

Values that exceed the required 40% are of little significance within the scientific standard with regard to a ‘better / more efficient effect’ of the heaters. We therefore refrain from providing individual details of our higher values as an ‘efficiency statement’.
The radiation efficiency of VASNER infrared heaters was determined by the TU Dresden on behalf of VASNER in accordance with the test guideline DIN EN IEC 60675-3.

The product is suitable as a heater for buildings and living spaces in accordance with the requirements of draft law 19/16716 Art. 1 §23 Para. 1 No. 3 GEG and the Ecodesign Directive 2015/1188/EC in conjunction with an external control unit. This product is only suitable for well-insulated rooms or occasional use. This product is not suitable as a main heating system. As a distributor, we are obliged under the Ecodesign Directive to supply each individual single room heater with a control unit. If you do not include a control unit with your order, a standard version conforming to the directive will automatically be included. In accordance with Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC and Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, electric room heaters may only be installed, controlled and operated together with a digital thermostat control with the ‘weekday control’ and ‘open window detection’ or “adaptive control of the start of heating” function.
