The Mellux Slim series is manufactured entirely in Germany – from the high-quality carbon heating filament to the elegantly powder-coated steel panel. The combination of genuine quality materials and top German technology results in an ultra-flat panel heater (1,9 cm deep – 4,8 cm with bracket) which, despite its compact form, achieves a true feat of heating power. 99% of the energy used is converted into cosy warmth. Thanks to the comprehensive rear insulation and with the help of a special reflector, the heating panel emits its warmth evenly into the room. You can choose between 7 models with 190 – 840 watts of power to bring every area of your home to a cosy temperature. The metal infrared panel heater can also be used in the bathroom – thanks to IPX2 protection against dripping water falling at an angle (up to 15°). The heating panel can be securely mounted on walls and ceilings as well as on sloping surfaces. This is made possible by the special brackets of the series, which guarantee a reliable hold and maximum flexibility in the alignment of the heater. It is possible to switch spontaneously between vertical and horizontal mounting without first having to readjust the frame.

How infrared panel heaters are constructed inside significantly determines their heating effect and energy efficiency. This applies not only to the infrared fibre technology itself, but also to other components for insulation and a targeted heat distribution. The metal heating panel manufactured in Germany is not only visually appealing with its flawlessly powder-coated surface, but is also cleverly designed on the inside for even room warmth and maximum efficiency. This begins with the high-quality, German carbon technology, which is integrated all the way to the edges of the infrared heating panel. Thanks to this construction, the created warmth is distributed evenly over the entire panel and the heat waves spread out ideally throughout the room. To ensure that no heat and therefore energy is lost towards the back, the metal infrared panel heater by VASNER not only has a 0,5 cm thick insulation layer, but also an additional aluminium reflector. This reflects the generated infrared radiation forwards into the room. Together, the two insulation layers ensure that the rear of the heating panel is at most hand-warm, which saves energy and prevents a build-up of heat between the mounting surface and the panel heater. Since these special features are invisible to the observer, VASNER shows you the even warmth radiation of the metal heating panel in the following infrared picture. VASNER Bracket for a Safe, Flexible Installation on Ceilings and Walls
Mount the Panel Heater Vertically & Horizontally

With the Mellux Slim series, VASNER introduces a special new bracket – for even more flexibility when mounting the metal infrared heating panel on the wall, ceiling and even on sloping surfaces. A special feature of the practical mounting system is that it allows you to switch spontaneously between a vertical and horizontal alignment of the heater. Without having to first remount the bracket. Depending on the selected model, the panel heater is supplied with one of the two mounts shown below. All you have to do is attach the bracket to the desired spot on the wall or ceiling using the enclosed assembly material. And then hang the heating panel into the mount so that it locks firmly into place. When mounted on the ceiling, the heating panel sinks slightly downwards in the bracket. The locking mechanism ensures 100% safety when mounted on the ceiling. If the metal heating panel is to be moved or removed at a later time, it must first be lightly pushed upwards before it can be removed from the bracket.

Mellux Slim Metal Infrared Heating Panel as a Space-Saving Bathroom Heater

Since there is often not much wall space left for radiators in the bathroom, infrared panel heaters are ideal for use in this area. The heating panels can be discreetly mounted on the ceiling or hung vertically on the wall to make use of even very narrow surfaces. With IPX2 protection against dripping water falling at an angle (up to 15°), the Mellux Slim panel heater is perfectly equipped for use in the bathroom. For maximum safety, it should be mounted at least 60 cm away from any water source.

Within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, electric room heaters must be controlled and operated via electronic room temperature controllers (thermostats) with a “weekday control” and “window-open-detection” function or “adaptive control of the start of heating”.
