With the VUTS1 socket thermostat, VASNER presents an ultra-flexible solution for controlling infrared heating panels and other electric heaters. After you have connected the thermostat to the socket, you can plug in your infrared / electric heater right away and select a heating programme. Choose a quick selection setting (comfort, absence) or define a custom temperature, which will be maintained automatically by your heater from then on, based on the day of the week and the time of day. Overview of the Socket Thermostat‘s Features
The target temperature can be set between 3 and 40°C in 0,5 degree increments. Depending on the time and day of the week, your infrared heater maintains the desired temperature automatically thanks to the digital thermostat. Up to 4 temperature changes can be programmed daily.
Automatic, manual, quick selection (comfort, absence), off
An open window is detected by the socket thermostat if the temperature drops by 0,2°C – 5°C (individually adjustable) in a short time. In this case, the controller lowers the heat output.
To prevent frost damage, the socket thermostat controls your heating panel to ensure that the temperature does not fall below 3°C. Perfect for infrared / electric heaters in your holiday home.
To prevent the heating settings from being changed unintentionally, the thermostats have a child lock / key lock.
Thanks to the battery in the socket thermostat, the temperature controller has a backup memory of 50 hours. If the thermostat is disconnected from the socket / power, the programming is retained.

For Efficient Heating and a Cosy Temperature
To feel completely comfortable at home, a cosy room temperature is essential. In order to flexibly adjust your comfort temperature, you can select a value between 3 and 40°C in 0,5 degree steps using the VUTS1 socket thermostat. The great thing about the programmable thermostat is that you always enjoy cosy warmth at just the right time. At night or when you are not at home, however, your heating system is automatically turned down, so you can save up to 10% on heating costs!
With the socket thermostat, you can adjust your infrared panel heater to suit your individual needs. The timer function / time switch enables an automatic heating sequence based on the day of the week and time. Edit each day individually, set a separate heating process for the weekend and for working days (Mon-Fri & Sat-Sun) or programme each day of the week identically (Mon-Sun). For an ideal room temperature and maximum heating cost savings, up to 4 automatic temperature changes can be set daily.
Socket Thermostat with Temperature Sensor to Automatically Control Your Electric Heater
The socket thermostat is equipped with an integrated sensor that measures the room temperature at regular intervals. If the digital plug thermostat registers a temperature below the desired level, the performance of your infrared heating panel is automatically increased. As soon as the target temperature is reached, the thermostat reduces the heating power again. Open window detection: If a temperature drop of 0,2°C – 5°C (adjustable) is registered within 4 minutes, the socket thermostat will turn down your radiator. This prevents the heating process from continuing when the window is open. However, this function must be activated.
Quick Selection Modes of the Thermostat
The socket thermostat is equipped with a quick selection mode to enable spontaneous temperature control without programming. You can choose between the comfort and absence operating modes. The comfort temperature is pre-programmed to 23°C while the energy saving setting (absence / night) is set to 17°C.
