Infrared Mirror Heater with High-Quality Glass - German Safety Glass with a Slight Tint

Then this technology should look familiar to you. The mirror layer of a heating panel must be semi-permeable, otherwise the infrared radiation would be blocked by its surface. Consequently, a panel heater with a conventional mirror layer would not work efficiently. A semi-transparent mirror, on the other hand, has a plane that is a shade darker than a normal mirror face. However, this does not have a significant effect on the use of infrared mirror heaters.

Good lighting is very important for the use of mirrors in the bedroom or bathroom. For this reason, the VASNER Zipris S and SR mirror heater is available with integrated LED lighting. You can choose between a 180° (lateral) and 360° (circumferential) illumination of the infrared heating panel. For the integration of the LED backlight, an elaborate process takes place during production. The mirror plane is carefully sandblasted to remove its silver layer in select areas and to simultaneously satinise the glass. As a result, a very high-quality and pleasant lighting is created. Furthermore, the LED lights have their own power connection. So you can control the heat output and the LED lighting of your infrared mirror heater independently.

In order for your mirror heater to be wired directly to the power circuit, the shock-proof plug can be cut off. Don't worry, the 5 year VASNER warranty will remain valid as long as the cable is cut by a professional.

The LED technology, on the other hand, is powered via a flat transformer, which is of course included in the delivery. This allows for an individual operation of light and heat (electrical knowledge required!). A separate switch for the LED light is not included in delivery.

A Mirror Heater in the Bathroom - Ideal Positioning

Note: We advise against mounting infrared heating panels opposite a door or window. In case of such a positioning, part of the thermal energy would be lost when the heat rays exit the room.

Wall Mounting your Mirror Heater - Quick and Simple

The easy installation of all Zipris infrared mirror heater models allows you to enjoy pleasant, sun-like warmth quickly. Simply use 2-4 screws to attach the specially designed mounting bracket to the wall. Afterwards, the mirror heater can easily be hung into the bracket and secured close to the wall. Since its backside is reliably insulated, only a small safety distance is required between the heating panel and the mounting surface. Of course, the needed installation accessories are included in the scope of delivery.

Please note: Only mirror panel heaters with a frame can be mounted on the ceiling, because they provide additional support to the glass.
