Description

The VASNER Citara M Plus Black combines modern infrared heating technology with a particularly elegant shape. Its gently rounded corners and deep black RAL 9005 metal surface give this heating panel its distinctive appearance. This makes it a stylish alternative to conventional white heating panels and allows it to blend harmoniously into modern, dark or high-contrast interiors. Depending on the model, the ultra-slim infrared heater with a depth of just 2.5 cm provides a heat output of 450 to 1100 watts.

Inside the Citara M Plus Black, VASNER's proven twin heating element technology ensures even heating across the entire surface. The heating filament extends into the outer areas of the panel, helping to achieve a homogeneous surface temperature without unwanted hot spots. Long-wave infrared C radiation transfers heat directly to people, objects and surfaces within the room. At the same time, high-quality rear insulation with an aluminium reflector reduces heat loss towards the wall or ceiling.

Thanks to the patented bracket, the black Citara M Plus can be mounted in a space-saving position on either the wall or ceiling. Its rounded design creates a particularly harmonious and modern appearance. The metal infrared heater is also suitable for bathrooms and other damp rooms: the IP44 protection rating protects the unit against splashing water from all directions with either a plug or permanent electrical connection. An integrated thermal switch provides additional protection against overheating.

For demand-based and efficient room temperature control, the Citara M Plus Black can be combined with a range of external thermostat systems and compatible smart home solutions. What is the difference between the Citara M and Citara M Plus infrared heaters?

The difference between the rectangular Citara M series and the rounded Citara M Plus series is purely visual. In terms of technology, heating effect and efficiency, both series are identical. There is no difference in heating performance between the Citara M and Citara M Plus when comparing models with the same wattage.

VASNER Radiant Efficiency

The radiant efficiency of our infrared heating series significantly exceeds the required 40%.

Radiant efficiency depends on a number of influencing factors. These include the size of an infrared heater, the type of installation (wall/ceiling) and the test arrangement used by the respective testing institute. The percentage value alone is not meaningful without taking these factors into account.
The radiant efficiency tested in accordance with DIN EN IEC 60675-3 at TU Dresden averages over 50% (wall mounting) and over 60% (ceiling mounting). The standard requirement (40%) is therefore significantly exceeded.

The radiant efficiency of VASNER infrared heaters was determined on behalf of VASNER by TU Dresden in accordance with the DIN EN IEC 60675-3 testing standard.

The infrared heater is suitable for use as a primary heating system in accordance with the new German GEG 2024, Section 71d. The product is suitable as a heater for buildings and living spaces in accordance with the requirements of draft legislation 19/16716 Art. 1 Section 23 Paragraph 1 No. 3 GEG and Ecodesign Directive 2015/1188/EU in combination with an external control. “This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use. This product is not suitable as a primary heating system.” This statement is no longer applicable under the new GEG. As the distributor, we are obliged under the Ecodesign Directive to place each individual local space heater on the market with a control system. If you do not add a control system to your order, a standard version compliant with the directive is automatically included.
