Description

With the Citara M RX series, VASNER presents an infrared panel heater with an integrated radio control system. The built-in radio module allows the heating panel to be regulated using the optionally available RX thermostat transmitter. Entirely without additional external thermostat systems, thermostat receivers or socket thermostats. This means that you do not have to insert a flush-mounted box / receiver, which keeps both installation effort and dirt to a minimum and allows the infrared panel heater to be used as flexibly as possible. With the new VASNER RX radio system, connecting, arranging and operating infrared heating panels in any room becomes an easy plug & play process. Commissioning infrared panel heaters has never been so quick and easy.

At first glance, the Citara M RX heating panel looks just like the existing Citara M metal panel heater by VASNER. Ultra-flat and with an elegant powder coating in white, it nestles against the wall or ceiling to save space and blend in with its surroundings. The only difference between the two series is the compact radio unit on the back of the Citara M RX heating panel. The module has a button to establish a radio connection with the thermostat transmitter, a heating indicator, a radio connection signal and a mains switch to turn off the electric heater. It is also possible to deactivate the radio connection and switch into manual operating mode in order to control the infrared heating panel with another external thermostat system of your choice.

The latest infrared heating technology is incorporated behind the entire white surface of the Citara M RX. The high-quality infrared fibres ensure high thermal efficiency with a surface temperature of up to approx. 110°C. This enables a significantly higher radiant heat than most infrared panel heaters on the market. Feel the even and sun-like warmth of the Citara RX series. The individual models in the series have an optional output of 300 - 1100 watts and, thanks to IP44 splash water protection, can be used anywhere in the house - even in damp rooms such as the bathroom. With its integrated overheating protection, the radio panel heater offers maximum safety during use.

Note: If the batteries in the RX thermostat transmitter are low, the display may not be updated and this may affect the heating process. If the same room temperature and time are constantly displayed, please change the batteries.

NEW: Digital tilt protection / off function

For maximum safety, Citara M RX infrared panel heaters by VASNER have a digital tip-over protection with an off function. This feature is activated ex factory and is especially important for models used as a mobile heat source together with additionally available feet. In the event of a position change beyond 60°, the automatic switch-off function immediately interrupts the heating process until the Citara M RX is back in an upright position. Depending on the type of installation, the anti-tilt protection must be deactivated before operation. With this extra digital safety function, VASNER is a pioneer in the market for safe infrared heating panels. So that you can enjoy the cosy warmth of your Citara M RX in peace.

Radiant Efficiency VASNER

The radiant efficiency of our infrared heating panels significantly exceeds the required 40%.

Note from the European Infrared Heating Alliance (EIHA):
Radiant efficiency depends on various influencing factors. These include the size of an infrared panel heater, the type of installation (wall/ceiling), and the test setup in the respective testing institute. The pure percentage value alone is not meaningful without considering these factors.
The radiant efficiency tested according to DIN EN IEC 60675-3 at TU Dresden averages over 50% (wall-mounted) and over 60% (ceiling-mounted). This far exceeds the standard requirement (40%).

The radiation efficiency of VASNER infrared panel heaters was determined by the Technical University of Dresden on behalf of VASNER in accordance with the test guideline DIN EN IEC 60675-3.

This product is only suitable for well-insulated rooms or occasional use. This product is not suitable as a main heating system. As a distributor, we are obliged under the Ecodesign Directive to supply each individual room heater with a control. If you do not enclose a control with your order, a standard version that complies with the directive will automatically be enclosed.
