Description

The VASNER iCarp infrared pet heating mat has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of pets and provides gentle, even warmth in resting and lying areas. Many animals prefer warm, sheltered areas to retreat to and use them to relax. The heating mat supports this natural need without generating excessively high temperatures and contributes to the well-being of the animals thanks to the pleasant heat emission - both at home and on the move.

A key feature of the pet heating mat is the removable infrared technology integrated inside the textile cover. The modern infrared twin heating conductor technology ensures even heat distribution over the entire surface, as the heating conductors are laid in a snake shape right up to the edges. This is complemented by an integrated heat insulation layer that minimizes energy loss and supports even heat distribution across the lying surface. The power of 13.5 watts, which is specially designed for use with animals, results in a surface temperature of approx. 30 °C ±10 %, which creates an even, gentle warmth without any temperature peaks.

The size of the heating mat is particularly well suited to cats and small animals, which often seek out warm places to lie down. Many dogs also appreciate the gentle warmth - depending on their breed and individual sensitivity to heat - so that the heating mat can also be used here as a targeted temperature-controlled lying area.

A special feature of the pet heating mat is the completely removable infrared technology. After removing the heating unit, the textile cover can be easily cleaned in the washing machine. This ensures a high level of hygiene and makes the mat particularly suitable for everyday use with pets. The robust textile surface made of hard-wearing PES fabric with a soft felt structure is designed for regular use, while the non-slip underside ensures a secure grip on a wide variety of surfaces.

The VASNER iCarp pet heating mat has two connection options for safe and flexible operation. It can be operated either via a 12 V connection with toggle switch, for example in the car, in the trunk or on the move, or via a 230 V EU plug-in power supply unit at the socket, for example at home or in a motorhome. The power supply unit converts the mains voltage to 12 V so that only an animal-friendly low-voltage voltage is present between the power supply unit and the heating mat. This significantly increases safety during use. In combination with the flat, flexible design, the heating mat can be used in a variety of ways, both stationary and mobile, for example on the floor, in the pet basket, on the sofa, on the scratching post, in the car trunk or in the motorhome. The connection cable is equipped with reinforced plug connections and a protective spiral sheath, which ensures a high load capacity in daily use. In addition, the heating mat is protected to IPX5 and is therefore also suitable for areas of use where splashing water or soiling may occur.

Ich habe diese Matte nun mehrere Wochen

Ich habe diese Matte nun mehrere Wochen im Einsatz bei einer Hündin mit knapp 6kg. Die Matte liegt in einer festen Autobox mit den Bodenmaßen 50 x 70. "Muffin" ist eine Wärmeliebhaberin (liegt im Sommer bei 35° gerne in der prallen Sonne) und obwohl sie die Gelegenheit hat, auch in einer nicht durch die Matte abgedeckten Zone zu liegen, bevorzugt sie stets den Bereich mit der Matte. Ich habe eine dünne Wolldecke darüber liegen, so daß die Matte selbst nicht so schnell verschmutzt. Die Wärme kommt durch die Decke sehr gut durch und auch das Kabel ist lang genug, um aus dem Kofferraum durch die Gitterstäbe, und unter der hinteren Sitzbank hindurch bis zur 12V Steckdose am Ende der Mitteltunnelverkleidung eingesteckt zu werden. 30 cm länger würden nicht schaden, aber es geht so auch ganz gut. Wenn ich die Hündin aus der Box hebe, weil diese zu hoch zum springen ist, habe ich an den Stellen, mit denen sie auf der Wärme gelegen hat, ein angenehmes Wärmegefühl durch diese Körperstellen. In Anbetracht dessen, daß Hunde sowieso eine höhere Körpertemperatur haben, kann ich bestätigen, daß die Matte eine absolute Wohlfühlwärme für die Hündin erzeugt.
Von mir gibt es eine absolute Kaufempfehlung und für den unschlagbaren Preis im Vergleich zu Wettbewerbsprodukten gerne noch einen sechsten Stern extra.
