Description

The VASNER iCarp infrared under-carpet heater has been specially developed for placement under carpets and enables targeted temperature control of carpeted areas indoors. This creates a noticeable infrared heat in the foot area without heating the room air, so that the heat is emitted exactly where it is perceived in everyday life. Typical areas of application are living and recreational areas, for example as a heated carpet pad under play rugs for children or under rugs in seating and dining areas, for example in front of the sofa or at the dining table. The heat is emitted directly upwards via the carpet and specifically increases comfort when standing, sitting or playing. The heat is provided by the snake-shaped integrated infrared twin heating conductor technology. This distributes the heat over the entire surface of the under-carpet heating. After switching on, the heat is available after a short time and ensures an even temperature of the carpet surface above. It is controlled via a permanently integrated LCD control unit, which makes it easy to adjust the heat. Four selectable heating levels are available so that the heat intensity can be individually adapted to the respective usage situation. In addition, the under-carpet heater has a switch-off timer with several predefined running times (30, 60, 120, 360, 480 minutes), which limits the operating time. For safety reasons, the under-carpet heating can only be operated with one running time. In addition to the normal operating mode, the under-carpet heating can also be used in combination with a smart plug, for example a timer socket. The very flat design ensures that the under-carpet heating is barely noticeable under the carpet and does not affect the look or feel of the carpet. The surface consists of a smooth, soft textile material that blends in unobtrusively under carpets. A textured rubber coating on the underside ensures that the under-carpet heating remains securely positioned on the floor. For safe operation, the VASNER iCarp infrared under-carpet heater is equipped with an automatic protective switch-off that intervenes in the event of overheating. In addition, the under-carpet heater is designed for permanent use under carpets and is available in two different sizes so that it can be flexibly adapted to different carpet formats.
