Choose between the classic "Citara M" infrared heater and the "Citara M RX" wireless infrared heater with an integrated wireless receiver. VASNER's latest printing technology delivers outstanding colour brilliance, vibrant colours, strong contrasts and impressive depth of field. Even fine structures and details in the original image are reproduced precisely. (Provided that the image data is of good quality!) This makes the infrared heater look less like a conventional heating appliance on the wall and more like a high-quality wall picture made individually for you. VASNER uses special GREENGUARD-certified inks for printing, combining high print quality with low chemical emissions. At the same time, the robust metal surface gives the picture heater a premium feel and clearly sets it apart from basic / inexpensive picture heaters with plastic fronts.

Choose Your Base Heater: Citara M or Citara M RX Wireless

For your custom picture infrared heater, you can choose between two different series: Citara M and Citara M RX Wireless. The only difference between these series is the type of thermostat control: while the Citara M can be flexibly combined with external thermostat systems, the Citara M RX already features an integrated wireless receiver for the VASNER RX wireless system.

Citara M – flexible with an external thermostat system

The Citara M is ideal if you want to control the picture infrared heater via external thermostat systems, such as other smart home systems, Shelly, KNX, etc. Thanks to its open-interface concept, it can be ideally combined with thermostat solutions from other manufacturers. For maximum system flexibility.

Citara M RX Wireless – wireless receiver already integrated

With the Citara M RX, the wireless receiver is already integrated directly into the rear of the heater. This means no additional external wireless receivers or plug-in thermostats are required. Using the separately available VASNER RX wireless thermostat transmitter, you can easily connect and control one or more picture heaters in a room via a single transmitter.

Your Custom Picture Infrared Heater in 5 Steps

1. Configure your desired heater
First choose between Citara M and Citara M RX Wireless, then select the appropriate output / size and the desired orientation of your picture infrared heater.

2. Upload your desired photo
Upload your personal photo or desired motif directly on the product page.

3. We check the quality of your photo file
We check whether the image quality of your file is suitable for high-quality photo printing. If the quality is insufficient, we will contact you.

4. You receive the layout for approval
Before printing, we will send you the prepared layout by email, including the intended image crop, for review and approval. This allows you to see in advance how your personal motif will look on the selected heater format. Your picture heater will only go into production after you have approved the layout. If you are not happy with the preview, you can of course still cancel the order and receive a full refund of the amount already paid.

5. We print and dispatch your heater
Once you have approved the layout, we print your desired motif onto your picture infrared heater and prepare it for dispatch.

Important note: As every picture infrared heater is individually made to the customer's order, it is excluded from our shop's 30-day return policy.

GREENGUARD-Certified Printing Inks

For a picture heater that becomes a permanent part of a living or working environment, the quality of the materials used is just as important as its premium appearance. That is why VASNER uses GREENGUARD-certified printing inks. The certification stands for low chemical emissions and underlines the high quality standards of the printing process. This makes the individually printed Citara M / M RX Wireless infrared heater suitable for sensitive living areas such as bedrooms and children's rooms, as well as offices and other indoor spaces.

Recommended Image Resolution for Optimum Printing Results

For optimum printing results, please ensure that your uploaded image or logo file has at least the resolution listed below. These values are intended as guidelines, as the actual resolution required also depends on the format and desired image crop.

Quality check before printing: Before production, we check your uploaded file to ensure that it is suitable for high-quality printing. If the quality is insufficient, we will contact you beforehand.

VASNER Radiant Efficiency

The radiant efficiency of our infrared heater series significantly exceeds the required 40%.

Note from the IG Infrarot association:
Radiant efficiency depends on various influencing factors. These include the size of an infrared heater, the type of installation (wall/ceiling) and the test setup used by the respective testing institute. The percentage value alone is not meaningful without taking these influencing factors into account.
The radiant efficiency tested at TU Dresden in accordance with DIN EN IEC 60675-3 averages over 50% (wall mounting) and over 60% (ceiling mounting). This significantly exceeds the standard requirement of 40%.

The radiant efficiency of VASNER infrared heaters was determined by TU Dresden on behalf of VASNER in accordance with the DIN EN IEC 60675-3 test standard.

Efficient thermostat control:

For efficient and convenient operation, the picture infrared heater is controlled via an electronic thermostat. Depending on the base heater selected, two different control concepts are available:

Infrared heating is suitable as a primary heating system in accordance with the new German Building Energy Act (GEG) 2024, Section 71d. The product is suitable as a heating system for buildings and living spaces in accordance with the requirements of draft legislation 19/16716, Art. 1 Section 23(1) No. 3 GEG and Ecodesign Regulation (EU) 2015/1188 in conjunction with an external control. “This product is only suitable for well-insulated spaces or occasional use. This product is not suitable as a primary heating system.” Under the new GEG, this statement is no longer applicable. As the party placing the product on the market, we are required under the Ecodesign Directive to supply each individual local space heater with a control. If you do not add a control to your order, a standard version compliant with the applicable directive is automatically included.
