Description

The VASNER Mellux Slim infrared heating panel made of metal features an ultra-slim design. This is because  – compared to the Citara metal heater  – the new Mellux Slim range has been deliberately designed with an extra-flat housing design that, with a depth of only 1,9 mm (total depth incl. bracket only 4,8 cm), nestles gracefully against the wall and thus fits ideally into all room concepts. Thanks to high-quality infrared technology made in Germany, the electric heater has an intensive heating power and particularly powerful heat efficiency despite its slim design. The metal infrared panel in timeless white convinces with a high heat-energy conversion rate of approx. 99%. This, together with its elegant appearance, ensures direct and particularly cosy warmth in all rooms. Whether in a house, flat, converted attic, hobby room, garden shed or office. Due to the IPX2 protection against dripping water falling at an angle (up to 15°), the panel heater is also suitable for use in the bathroom. The enclosed bracket allows a safe and space-saving installation - horizontally or vertically on the wall as well as on the ceiling - without having to change the bracket beforehand when changing the alignment. Thanks to this, you can use the infrared heater according to your individual needs in your entire flat or house. An integrated triple overheating protection testifies to the high VASNER quality and safety standards, which are confirmed by the 5-year guarantee and the TÜV certificate.

Note: The Mellux Slim metal infrared panel cannot be used as a mobile heater.

Note: Compared to the Citara M metal infrared panel, the Mellux Slim has a particularly flat housing design.

Efficient control by thermostat:

• To use infrared heating panels efficiently, an electronic thermostat is necessary
• Thermostat is not included (see accessories)
• The selection of a suitable thermostat depends on the intended application
• Advantages of programmable thermostats: Automatic temperature change according to time & day, individually programmable + standard heating programs, quick selection settings, frost protection function

• Data and calculations of heating areas are always dependent on several influencing factors, for example structural conditions such as ceiling height, room size, insulation, energetic conditions / building fabric, number of external walls etc.

Mounting:

The product is suitable for use as a heating system for buildings and living spaces in accordance with the requirements of Bill 19/16716 Art. 1 §23 Paragraph 1 No. 3 GEG and the Ecodesign Directive 2015/1188/EC in conjunction with an external control system. This product is only suitable for well-insulated rooms or occasional use. This product is not suitable as a main heating system. As a distributor, we are obliged under the Ecodesign Directive to supply each individual room heater with a control. If you do not enclose a control with your order, a standard version that complies with the directive will automatically be enclosed. According to the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC and Regulation (EU) 2015/1188, electric room heaters may only be installed, controlled and operated together with a digital thermostat control with the function "weekday control" and "window-open detection" or "adaptive control of the start of heating".
