Because the controlled air supply also determines how quickly and high the flames burn. Precisely this sophisticated regulation of the burning rate is new on the market and distinguishes all fire baskets by VASNER.

The design of the fire bowls is based on the principle of heat development during the burning process: Wood ignites at a temperature of between 260-290°C in normal ambient air. By the time a heat of 600°C has been reached, the escaping gas has been burnt off and the wood has been completely charred.

The higher the side walls of the fire basket are designed, the slower the burning rate of the wood. Depending on the height of the edges, oxygen reaches the fire source more slowly from above. As a result, the escaping gas burns more slowly and the wood in the brazier does not char as quickly. This means that you can enjoy the fire for a longer time and a cosy flame pattern is created.

The regulation of the burning process is similar to that of a closed fireplace. Instead of controlling the flame pattern with an integrated slider, however, the burning rate is controlled automatically according to the fire pit’s construction.
